The OXID eShop EE 2.7 provides you with the SEO II URLs with ideal URLs- for search engines and also regarding user friendliness. Unfortunately, on many pages of the URL the not very nice session IDs are displayed to the user and the feature switches itself off completely as soon as e.g. an article is placed into the shopping cart or a user is registered. Additonally features like 'recently viewed products' are not supported while this feature is active.
This is where this module is useful: Provided that browser-session-cookies are not disabled, the session ID is primarily saved onto a session cookie and the SEO II URLs remain permanently activated. Virtually all shop URLs are now without the session IDs, and much nicer to look at. Whoever and whenever a shop URL is posted, e.g. from a customer in a forum, it will always be an attractive URL without any internal number codes.
Apart from this the shopping carts will be saved automatically, even if your customers are browsing between your shop and other websites.
Please note: For the implementation of this module a modificatio of the core file oxsession.php is inevitable. Of course we will provide you with a free adapted OXID version with every update of this file.
The licence price is based on one sub-shop. Further sub-shops are 25% of the base-price.
