The OXID eShop standard function 'forgotten password' sends customers with an existing shop account an eMail with the access data.

 

However, it happens now and again that customers order from you without being registered (shopping without password), but are not aware of this or have forgotten about this. If these customers now request their password they will not receive an eMail.

 

The module Password Reminder Plus changes this: If customers are not registered with a password, they will receive an eMail anyway. The content of this eMail can be defined in the CMS system.

 

 

As a little add-on this module contains the option that the shop operator receives a copy of the registration eMail when a customer registers with the shop.
